Brian Hubbard

Brian Hubbard is the President of Evolved Cyber, LLC, bringing more than 40 years of cybersecurity experience across federal, defense, and commercial sectors. He is a Lead Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA) and Instructor, actively leading and participating in formal CMMC Level 2 assessments.

Brian previously served as Director of Commercial and Cybersecurity at Edwards Performance Solutions, where he built and led the organization’s CMMC practice and achieved multiple certifications across the CMMC ecosystem. Earlier in his career, he supported the development of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) while serving as a contractor to NIST, and spent 20 years at Booz Allen Hamilton supporting mission-critical cybersecurity initiatives across the Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense as a Principal.

Through Evolved Cyber, Brian applies deep regulatory knowledge and real-world assessment experience to help organizations build compliant, defensible, and sustainable cybersecurity programs aligned with 32 CFR Part 170, DFARS requirements, and NIST SP 800-171 — positioning them for successful CMMC certification.
